I just have a few questions that I've been wondering about that I REALLY don't know the answers to and I was wondering if people could give me some pointers or elaborate answers. ^_^..?

1. Does anyone know of any other websites that I may possibly have a better chance at having people pay me to draw for them or buy my already existing stuff?
2. Are there websites like Ebay where I can sell things for cheap but don't yet have to be 18?
3. What's the best way to make your own website for FREE?
4. In your opinion do you think I'm creating things at a good enough level TO have my own art selling website?
5. What are some artsy things you'd like me to try to do that might better my chances at making a profit?
6. What are the best skin coloring supplies out there? (I currently use a set of Lyra skin tones).
7. Any other cheap but name brand supplies I might want to try out?
8. What are some websites that offer actual cash prizes in art competitions?

Just felt like dropping in and making a random update journal about my life. Not that I'm really interesting, but I like to use this as an actual journal sometimes.

 

A quick word on my current art position, I'm currently working on a bunch of projects for the Shiawassee County Fair. So to really letcha know what you'll be seeing in the near future I'm going to be uploading a pen, pastel, pencil, some photos and a couple paintings sometime between now and August. ^_^

 

As for a more personal update, I just graduated from Corunna High School this past Sunday, I'm getting an apartment soon with my soon to be baby's Daddy. We just went out and picked out an engagement ring! ANNNND even though I INSISTED on him not spending a lot of money he's officially getting me a $280 engagement ring (a small silver band ring with an Amethyst stone) I'm SUPER excited! Though he put it on the layaway option and so he didn't spend all of that at once. He also did that so I have no idea when he's actually going to propose or how he's going to. I love this man. He makes me so happy. Not to make you guys sick by all my mushiness, but I can't help to brag and gush about how wonderful it feels to fall asleep in his arms every night, watch as my baby moves inside me when he talks to her or how he randomly kisses me throughout the day. I've never felt closer to this man as I do now, even during the whole initial "I loooooveee yoooou" icky phase all couples do.

I'll also be able to get on here WAY more often than I have been because my WONDERFUL WONDERFUL AMAZING grandparents bought me a LAPTOP for my graduation gift!!!!!!!

 

Now that I got all the good news out of the way, now I got to cap some of the downers really quick, but I won't go into detail.

The very grandpa who bought me my laptops is for sure probably never going to be able to get out of bed for more than a shower. We've been trying to heal and overpower his bedsore for 6 years and it doesn't look like it's going to get better. Plus I overheard my mom and grandma talking saying stuff like he may not make it to my oldest youngest sibling's graduation (like live til then) which is in 4 years. My car broke down so I'm struggling at finding another one I can afford to purchase. And I can't find a job ANYWHERE which is why I'm totally up to ANYONE pay ACTUAL money for a drawing or painting of some sort. PLEASE. I'm reeaaaally struggling with money right now.

 

ANYHOO, there's my update. Feel free to comment your own! I'd love to talk!!

Like this reads I am going to eventually stop using this account, more so around the time I turn 18 on August 1st.

I'm going to make a new account on here which will be my official professional account. This one will be deactivated by October (Most likely).


Since I haven't made the new account yet I'm not going to tell you the actual account name. I will make another journal then. Pictures of my kid will be posted on this one when she's born. And I will be uploading a little bit more on this one, but eventually I will stop it.


Please follow my new account when I actually make it. Since it's a new account and a professional one I plan to be WAY more active on that one and upload more quality works. Thanks!
